whoaaaaaa:
this is beyond perplexing (via videogum):

This is a dope track, but I’ll be honest, I’m mostly getting this up here as an excuse to post picture of Ghostface in weird space-makeup. Love the original sample too. Via The FADER:

This song is great for the summer but also able to maintain a serious amount of weirdness which is a tough feat. Some nice synth/guitar/drums get things going and create a sonic wash that the vocals try to squeeze through in the best way possible. It is kind of like Vile is singing through honey – not in that he is sweet but in that he is yelling through something sticky and thick. Via RSB:

This is one of the weirdest, but most enjoyable, short films I have seen in a while. Garret showed it to me over pizza and beer while we were waiting to go out and it left me feeling very uncomfortable in the best way possible, like I stumbled upon some home-made film by some kids who were trying to create a high-art action piece (yet fell short and exceeding in other ways).

My favorite song off of Oracular Spectacular gets the video treatment and ends up looking like a cross between Fern Gully and the rave scene from The Matrix: Reloaded. Weird.
This dude is the ultimate freak – his music is off the wall but it somehow is coherent. Really plays to my obsession with obscure synth and drum machine sounds. There is so much I want to say about James Pants but not enough time right now – long story short, check out Rhythm Trax Vol. 1, Ice Castles and get excited for Welcome (via the FADER):
