This song is great for the summer but also able to maintain a serious amount of weirdness which is a tough feat. Some nice synth/guitar/drums get things going and create a sonic wash that the vocals try to squeeze through in the best way possible. It is kind of like Vile is singing through honey [...]

My favorite song off of Oracular Spectacular gets the video treatment and ends up looking like a cross between Fern Gully and the rave scene from The Matrix: Reloaded. Weird.

I’m pretty excited about this album, which I didn’t quite expect. Her voice is pretty raw in its own way and the production is wonderful (thanks Dave Sitek). Also, having Bowie on your track never hurts.
