I saw The Cornelius Group last night at Walt Disney Concert Hall and they blew my mind. It was an absolutely unreal experience, fully multimedia. The band sounded great, first of all, from the tightness of their playing to the quality of their instrument tones. The drummer in particular was amazing. I’m always amazed by Cornelius’ ability to mix and experiment with vastly different genres while still maintaining a coherent sound, something The Group was able to recreate live flawlessly.

The synchronized video was equally as impressive, most of which you can see on YouTube. Seeing these videos with live music performance at the same time pushed the songs into the next stratosphere.

Anyway, it was mind expanding. Incredible experience.
