it is amazing to watch a band completely in control of their art – the dynamics of this are what really get me here, especially in regards to the acoustics of the space. by providing subtle changes in volume and attack grizzly bear literally resonate with the space around them. also, the bass clarinet (i think it is a bass clarinet, could be a basoon) sounds like this old roland string synth I have:
