I found out about Disco D post-mortem and I respect him immensely, both in production and conviction. The more and more I learn about him, the more intrigued I am by his story (read a great Village voice article here). IHEARTCOMIX just linked up one of his dopest productions, “Shove It” by Santo Gold (feat Spankrock) and it is a must listen. Similarly, GvB just posted a “Top 25 albums of the year” list (maybe someday SH will end up on a Top 25…peeps can dream), and they kindly posted a killer Switch remix of the same track.
